Rational Equations! Can someone please explain to me how to solve these problems?? I'm homeschooled and I've went over all the material given (including the videos) but I still can't figure out how to solve rational equations. I'll think I have it one moment but then next it gets all confusing. Here's two examples of what I'm expected to solve: (x/x - 3) + (x/x + 3) = (2/x^2 - 9) and (x-1/x^2) + 3x + 2 + 2x/x + 2 = x - 1/x + 1 I need to know how to solve rational equations step by step, so can anyone help me? I don't just want the answer, I really do what to learn how to solve.
