Selena orders CDs for a music shop. She just ordered 8 CDs from each of 11 pop artists and 5 CDs from each of 8 jazz artists. How many CDs did she order altogether?

When it says "8 CD's from each of 11 pop artists", I'm guessing that would mean she bought 8 CD's from one artist, 8 more from the second pop artist and so on. Which would be 8*11.

The second part would be the same thing except there are different amounts. This time it is 5 CD's from 8 jazz artist which would be 5*8.
