So if today is thursday, what is it in 7 days from now? Thursday. So you could just subtract of 7 from 2013 and asked the same question to get your answer right? 2006 days from a thursday will be the same.

Leap years don't affect whether it's thursday or not. You will never go from a wednesday to friday because of a leap year or anything like that.

The fast way of doing this is simply dividing your number by 7 and then finding the remainder and counting how far away from thursday that is since all the days evenly divided by 7 will "cancel out" leaving the remainder days away from thrusday lol.

2013/365 = 5 and some change, the change is 188, so what day is it 188 days from now? well 188/7 and some change, the change is 6, so 6 days from a thursday.
