A card is drawn from a standard deck of 52 cards find the probability that the card is either a 10 or a club

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually there are 13 clubs. Ace,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, Jack, Queen, King. Than there are 4 tens in a deck. one of the 10 cards will be the 10 of clubs so therefore it will be 13 + 4 -1 = 16

so 16/52
