It says 1.6 meters in half a second, if you multiply this by 2 then you get how far it goes in 1 second: 1.6 x 2 = 3.2 So the car goes 3.2 meters in 1 second, we can multiply this by 10, to see how far it goes in 10 seconds: 3.2 x 10 = 32. So the car goes 32 meters in 10 seconds.
