if the lake is 6 miles across and nancy rowed at 3mph, that would mean nancy did the first trip in 2 hours. If kelly rowed at 2mph, then kelly did the trip in 3 hours. So the answer would be 5 hours. 6miles/3mph = 2hours 6miles/2mph= 3hours
