What is the Treaty of Paris? How did the Treaty of Paris help Britain gain more land in North America?
Okay, so let me get my encyclopedia from my home library. :P
lol
Okay, it says "The Treaty of Paris, signed on September 3, 1783, ended the American Revolutionary War between Great Britain on one side and the United States of America and its allies on the other."
thank you!
And as for the Britain gaining more land, all I know is that it temporarily pulled Britain closer together based on USHistory.org: "It should have been a time to revel in the spoils of war. Instead, the very victory that temporarily brought American colonists close to their British cousins would help tear them apart. There is nothing like fear to make a group of people feel close to a protector. The American colonists had long felt the threat of France peering over their shoulders. They needed the might of the great British military to keep them safe from France. With France gone, this was no longer true. They could be free to chart their own destinies."
A pleasure working with you. c;
