President Wilson's actions and mindset, rather than Senate and popular opposition, led to the defeat of the Treaty of Versailles in the U.S. Senate. Is this true?
@Luigi0210 @Mertsj @thomaster @whpalmer4 @Destinymasha can you guys help me?
Very false
Some advice: Don't tag a moderator for a simple question. They have important things to work on and most likely will not come to see your question
@Xmoses1 Why is this false? Didn't personal enmity between Wilson and Lodge play a big role in the United States failing to ratify the Versailles Treaty and join the League of Nations?
No it was the league of nations and Wilson's fourteen points that were not accepted by the US. It WAS the Treaty of Versailles that was accepted
Okay thank you, but what are three reasons I could put in my essay to justify that Wilson was not responsible for the defeat of the Treaty of Versailles in the U.S. Senate?
I cant really help you there
@xmoses1 That's like my main problem lol. I don't know how to form a thesis for this.
Oh i see. I am sorry then there is nothing i can do about that :\ I hate historical essays Xp
Same here! I'm usually really good at them but this one has me stumped. Thanks for all your help though :) Is there anyone you can tag that can help me with this please?
Possibly @kewlgeek555 or @Kfins99 but neither are online right now :\
Well good luck :)
