A water sprinkler has a range of 5 meters. The jet from the sprinkler sweeps out at an angle of 85 degrees as the nozzels turns. What is the area watered by the sprinkler? use the value pi=3.14 and round to the one decimal place.

\[ \frac { 25 \pi}{360} \times 85 \] is the area in question.
I need to find out how many meter covered. my choices are 15.6 17.8 18.5 I'm not sure how to find that???

85/360 * 3.14(0.5)^2 0.1853 18.5 can this be right???
Sorry, I made a miscalculation. Here is the right one \[ \frac{25 (3.14) (85)}{360}=18.5347 \]
can you help me on the other one I posted. I did it the same way but got it wrong. :/
