You can use a virtual map or you can go to a web search engine and type in something like this: top view building. Another option is to use your own digital camera to take a picture of the top view of a building where you live. You can also use a web-based tool that will show you the top view of a building. The top view is the view looking straight down on a 3-D object so that you see the outline of the building as a 2-D figure.
