You can set up an equation involving ratios. For the whole circle (a "sector" with \(360^\circ\)), you would have the circle's circumference, \(2\pi r=12\pi\). Solve for \(x\): \[\frac{\text{arc length}}{\text{angle}}=\frac{12\pi}{360^\circ}=\frac{x}{45^\circ}\]
