I need help on my homework....last two problems!!! Please show work :)

1.) Solve by completing the square. Check your answer.
X^2-5=2X

2.) Use the Zero Product Property to solve each equation. Check your answer.
(X+2)(X-5)=60

If x^2-5=2x,
rearrange this quadratic in standard form: x^2-2x-5=0.

1. take half of the coefficient of x: this coeff. is -2.
2. divide this coeff by 2. Result: -1.
3. square this result: (-1)^2
4. Add that square to x^2-2x, and then subtract the same number, and write in the final term, -5.
5. You'll get x^2 -2x + 1 -1 -5.
6. recognize that the first 3 terms represent a perfect square: the square of (? + ?) ?
