Which sum is equal to x^2 + 6x - 5/x^2 -5 A. 1/x-5 + x/x+5 B. 1/x+5 + x/x-5 C. 1/x+5 + x+5/x-5 D. 1/x+5 + x^2/x-5

is it C?

Parth (parthkohli):

How did you get C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I factored both equations so that they would give me(x-1)(x+5)/ (x+5)(x-5) and then I solved that to get 1/x+5+ x+5/x-5 I don't think I explained that well

@ParthKohli

Parth (parthkohli):

I have a hacky way of doing it. Try to simplify the choices.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm confused...

how can the solutions be simplified?
