what happens to the graph of a line when the slope is negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the line would angle down to the right. it would start in the 2nd quadrant and end in the 4th quadrant.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

As panhead has said, it would go from left to right diangonally...however it doesn't necessarily go only from the 2nd to 4th quadrant...it could go from 1st to 4th...depending on how steep the slope... |dw:1394640135013:dw|
