I have to write a life lesson in my life in memoir form. I'm doing the introduction right now but don't know how to start my flashback. Should it be in the second paragraph or the first

Usually the first paragraph of an essay or passage is introducing the theme that will be presented throughout the next few paragraphs. I would briefly explain your topic in the introduction and go into further detail about your flashback in the next paragraph :)
