4x -2y =4 + -4x +4y =8 -------------------------- 0x + 2y = 12 So, 2y=12 that means, y=6. plug in y to solve for x. 4x-2y=4 4x-2(6)=4 4x-12=4 4x-12 +12 = 4 + 12 4x=16 x=? (you tell me)
