Hehe. Well, I don't have the actual statistics, but I know back in 2012 or 2011, we reached over 1,000,000 hits!

I personally think this would be a hard question to answer!  So many users have alternate accounts.  It would be impossible to know how many users there are, since a lot of accounts may belong to the same person.

Users = Accounts
So there is a record of it, kept by OS.

But in some cases,

1 user = 5 accounts 

So in a sense, there is only 1 real person
But that one person would be counted 5 times for their 5 alt accounts.  

How many accounts would be a measurable number, but not how many users (users would have to be an estimated number , and it would be a lower number than the totally accounts)

Plus... some people share accounts.  So in some cases

1 account = 3 people

So # of accounts does not mean # of people who use OpenStudy.  

Accounts can be counted exactly and accurately, but # of people can only be estimated
