You need to use inverse trig functions.

you calculator has a shift key or 2nd key you'll need to press it then sin then 0.5 and equals... yo should be an answer of 30... hope it helps

oh on mie i have to press 2nd and trig and 4 ......so yeah it did give me 30 :)

thats what you need to do to get the inverse trig functions... in you look at you're sin key above it in yellow or grey writing is \[\sin^{-1}\] is that right...?
