OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I prefer helping on a hard problems

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

because when the problem is hard a fool person won't come to the question and just hand out a plain answer.

OpenStudy (hba):

your point?

mathslover (mathslover):

If you notice any user just giving direct answers to the asker or vice versa ( asker seeking for direct answer ) , then : i) Please direct the culprit in a polite manner to read the OpenStudy code-of-conduct and to better seek or give a complete help except just giving direct answers. ii) Report the culprit and don't forget to mention the problem with the user like " The user was seeking for direct answer " / "The user is just giving direct answers" and moderators will take suitable action against the user iff the user doesn't understand his/her fault. But also , please make sure to check whether the user is seeking/giving direct answers or not! If you think that you by fault asked the user to not cheat than do not forget to apologize to him. Also, OpenStudy Ambassadors and Moderators are working day and nights to solve this problem and you can be the one among those who can help us. Just follow the above steps and help OpenStudy be the best educational site in the World! :)

A *fool* person? I don't remember you being quite this judgemental... so, many "fool" persons must have been getting on your nerve then XD Still... maybe try to curb your language... words go deep, you know ^_^ Oh, and here's a hard problem: Prove 1 > 0

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Yes, but when I see people with a smart score of 55-80 give out answers - people that have been many days here (acc. to their profiles) give out answers without explaining anything what so ever, you have to admit they're quite fool.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

<childish chuckle> http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4fdf5f20e4b0f2662fd5b2f1 Yeah, I hate it when that happens too (now) Still, I'm almost incapable of calling anybody 'fool' or any such word that implies inferior intellect... maybe you can soften the blow? Oh, and, try answering the problem I posted too. Good mental exercise, yeah? :D

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Actually, nobody cares.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Nice try to be rude.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

Not really; not trying to be rude.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Kinda odd.... " because when the problem is hard a fool person won't come to the question and just hand out a plain answer." If a person is a fool, how would they know the answer to "hand out"?

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Fool would be the wrong choice of words here... Since a foolish person wouldn't be smart enough to even be able to "hand out" answers.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you got the point, when the question is hard the answer won't be given away in such a way :) On the other hand with easy problems I see people do that all the time ( \(\color{blue}{ -;( }\) )

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

I agree, yet I know we are all guilty of being "fools" on here, since all of us probably gave out answers at one point or another. So I don't blame them too much, since who am I to blame them of something I've done myself in the past?
