What does the "AA Similarity Postulate" say?
if two angles of a triangle are coungruant to two angles of anthore triangle than they are simular? so would i be looks for two of the same angles?
Exactly. Are the two angles of one triangle equal to the corresponding two angles of the other triangle? I think you now have enough info on which to choose your answer.
so it would be true because its a triangle?
sorry, no. Please go back to that definition of AA Similarity.
April: Thank you for looking up the AA Similarity Postulate. I know that information. The point here is that YOU need to know it well enough to apply it yourself to the problem at hand. Wish we had practiced this on homework before you had to take a quiz on it. Please read the Postulate again and then look at the two triangles given in this problem. Does the Postulate apply here? why or why not?
this is just the homework
my test is in a week this is the only homework we get.
Please read the Postulate again. does it, or does it not, apply to the two triangles in this problem? Explain your answer and your conclusion.
its diffrent right because the tops are 23 than the bottoms are 66 55 right
And so, what is your conclusion?
i say its false n its my bad i wasnt looking at the triangles just a quick glance
Perhaps you'd better promise yourself to look very carefully at those triangles before deciding. So, how are you going to answer this particular question? I won't tell you "right" or "wrong" because you have enough info in this case to decide for yourself.
im saying false
