Any main water supply system to the plumbing system in a building or house. As long as the valves in a building are closed ( toilets, sinks, faucets etc) the water doesn't flow and the "circuit" is closed. Open up any valve, and the water flows from the "voltage" ( water pressure in the mains) and depending on the pipe delivery size , the more "amps" ( the volume of water delivered in the pipes and exiting at any valve) Open up several faucets at once, and the the "amps", or volume of water divides between the outlets faucets
