Anyone taking Enviromental Science or in Chemistry A? I dont know which I would like to take next year and want some feedback from students who are in the classes! :) comment below please!

I am in Honors Chemistry... I believe that it would depend on what you prefer. Chemistry and Environmental Science are both very different and have some similarities... I would definitely say that both are great to do. I would think of what you are planning to do later in college and such... It may help you decide.. :)

Thanks! I really dont know what type of class Enviromental Science is. I dont know the type of material and stuff. I really do not want to take Chemistry but i think i have to take it at some point in high school, dont I?

Environmental Science includes different fields of science including problems that are involved in the environment, it has some physical and biological aspects as well... I was honestly going to take AP Environmental Science this year but I already had plenty of classes so I haven't been able to take it either. I believe to graduate high school you take either chem or physics but to be honest I am not sure... I would talk to a counselor to check... Chem isn't too bad just a lot of math and formulas... I believe you take it in college again anyway and depending on what you major...

Yes i would totally take Enviromental Science over chemistry but if i do have to take chem eventually might as well get it out of the way. I didnt understand the small amount of chemistry we did in one unit of Physical science though so im a little worried i will have trouble with it. I will talk to someone and find out if i have to take Chem! Thank you :)

Of course! Yeah environmental is a lot like Earth science if that helps your decision. Earth systems and all... Once you get a hang of Chem it just takes a ton of practice.. I am not all that great either.. No problem! :)
