Well it wouldn't really be A, memoirs are usually something based on years of the events.. So being the shortest in class, may have only lasted for 1 year. With B it's just stating one single event that took place, most likely not something that will be remembered for years. D could be a possibility, but what if one year they didn't go? So the answer is C. Do you understand how we got that?
