Which sentence is correctly punctuated? A. Wait, Bobby while the car warms up. B. Wait Bobby while the car warms up. C. Wait, Bobby, while the car warms up. D. Wait Bobby, while the car warms up.
I think it's C, because "Bobby" is just what you call fluff in writing, the sentence would still be okay without it in there. So, you just add commas...
That what I thought, thanks!
You're welcome!! :))
Which sentence is correctly punctuated? A. On the counter, in the kitchen, you will find a stack of mail. B. On the counter in the kitchen you will find a stack of mail. C. On the counter, in the kitchen you will find a stack of mail. D. On the counter in the kitchen, you will find a stack of mail.
If you had to narrow it down, which one do you think it would be? :)
A or D
Ok, out of those two... imagine you're mom giving you those directions to find the mail. Would you want her to spit them out like a machine gun, or take a breath in between directions, so you can actually hear what she is saying? Which sentence would make you understand those directions better?? :)
So a?
Yes! :)
thanks!
