Which answer is a correctly punctuated compound sentence? A. Miss Westland is driving to Montana tomorrow, she plans to leave at 6:30 A.M. B. Miss Westland is driving to Montana tomorrow she plans to leave at 6:30 A.M. C. Miss Westland is driving to Montana tomorrow, and she plans to leave at 6:30 A.M.

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but wouldn't it be A. that's what I was thinking

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

Yeah, it would be C because in compound sentences you add the conjunctions. In A, I think you would use the semi-colon again.

ih okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops I meant oh okay

OpenStudy (hanner_b_nanner):

:))

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

No, because commas are only used to with ands, ors, buts, or when listing items. See it it was a semicolon or a period instead. then it would be A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah that makes sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A is the correct answer
