The graph of a system of two linear equations has no solution. What is true about the lines? A. The lines are perpendicular. B. The lines have the same slope, but different intercepts. C. The lines have the same intercept, but different slopes. D. The lines are on top of each other.

OpenStudy (tennistar):

Hmmm. This is weird. Those types of lines would be called parallel. Thats not an answer though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its b

OpenStudy (tennistar):

I think it would be B. But, I am not sure. @amistre64

OpenStudy (amistre64):

B is the same thing as parallel D is coincident lines

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if lines have the same slope but hit different points ....|dw:1394822329241:dw|
