What is the difference between the circumference and the area of a circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aera is inside circumfrnece is around the cirlce

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):

For the circumference, recall the circle is nothing but a line, the circumference is nothing but how long that line is. The area is how much space the circle covers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a circumference is the outer edge like when you draw a circle. The area is the inside shape or space measured in square units

OpenStudy (timaashorty):

I agee with all they've said ; Area measure the whole space inside the circle, while the circumference just measures the borders of the circle.
