How come openstudy won't let anyone delete their accounts?

Not actually positive on that, you can ask to be permanently banned from OpenStudy. Usually you will need a good reason for that. Once that can happen, all your posts and things you've said on here will remain on here. @Preetha would be the one to fully talk to about this.

One reason that accounts won't be deleted is so that other people can learn from your questions/answers. Also, if your account was deleted, every medal you've given out would also get deleted. So if your account was deleted, it would immediately effect other users.

Plus, it would be way too easy to cheat on a test and then delete your account to erase all the tracks :)

You have to email someone (I forgot the email ad.), in order to delete your account. I deleted my account before because I thought I will not OS anymore. Now, I'm back.I wish I could have my old my SS.
