CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. Will fan and give medal. Which of the following would most likely be the subject of an essay written by a feminist literary critic on Cather's My Antonia. A) A consideration of Antonia as an updated earth goddess or fertility goddess on the Great American Plains. B) How readers with different social and economic backgrounds interpret Jim's narrative in different fashions. C) The unfortunate circumstances under which Lingard is forced to work out her adult life on the Nebraska Plains as a farmhand.
D) An analysis of the economic opportunities available to, and economic challenges confronting, Antonia and Jim.

Okay, good luck :D
Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME
A Marxist literary critic writing about Willa Cather's My Antonia (A great book!) would likely focus on the aspects of work or capitalism present in the novel, and the elements of social class. A Marxist would focus on Jim Burden's grandparents as bourgeois & the town as oppressive of Antonia, & possibly see Antonia as a hero because she overcame the bourgeois society that criticized her for working & having a child out of wedlock, even though she eventually became a capitalist agent.
Oh ok thanks so much
