Pluto's diameter is approximately 2370 km and the diameter of its satellite is 1250 km. the distance is about 1.96X10^4 km apart, center to center. find the location of the center of mass of this system relative to the center of Pluto. assume they have the same composition and same average density.

i found the answer to be 2510 km. if anyone else is in need of it. to solve it just use the simple m1d1+m2d2/(m1+m2) where d is the distance so d1=0 and d2=1.96*10^4 and to find the mass's of eachuse a ratio so find the difference in diamiters (Charon is .527 smaller than Pluto) and cube it to find the mass of Charon (.1463) and make the mass of pluto equal to 1. This works because of the ratio! WOOOOOH
