MEDAL: Which of the following forms a proportion with 9/15 12/20 10/6 15/21 3/45

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you have to know how to set it up right. Do you know how?

OpenStudy (helpblahblahblah):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll do one of them for you.

OpenStudy (helpblahblahblah):

okay thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, Open study isn't letting me post it. So what you're gonna do is youre gonna write 9/15 somewhere on a paper, and then put an equals sign and then write 12/20. Do you understand me so far?

OpenStudy (helpblahblahblah):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, do you know how to cross multiply? If not, what you're gonna do is multiply 9 x 12 and 15 x 20 . If you get the same answer for both, then they are proportionate. I don't know if this is how your teacher taught you, this is how mine did.

OpenStudy (helpblahblahblah):

okay thanks soo much :D
