odd numbers between 1 and 10 are {1,3,5,7,9} so we have 5 odd numbers the probability that she'll get an odd = P(O) = 5/10 the probability that she'll get 4 = P(4) = 1/10 the probability that she'll get an odd number or a 4 = P(O U 4) = P(O)+P(4) = 5/10+1/10 = 6/10
