When graphing an inequality,you graph the line and then shade how do you know if the points on the line are or are not solutions to the inequality?

choose any point in any region and plug it in the inequality. After that see if the point supports the inequality. If it does, highlight the region that is within the point. Hope this helps.

If the end point has a small open circle arount it, it is not included in the solution set. If the circle is solid, the end point belongs to the solution set.
