Simplify ?

OpenStudy (hoblos):

we can use first the formula (a-b)(a+b) = a^2 - b^2 can you apply it here ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk if you can but here are the options @hoblos ±sin Θ ±cos Θ ±tan Θ

OpenStudy (hoblos):

(1-cos Θ)(1+cos Θ) = 1 - (cos Θ)^2 we know also that (sin Θ)^2 + (cos Θ)^2 = 1 so 1 - (cos Θ)^2 = (sin Θ)^2 (sin Θ)^2 / (cos Θ)^2 = [sin Θ / cos Θ]^2 = (tanΘ)^2 radical( (tanΘ)^2 ) = ±tan Θ

thanks!!

any time :)
