A tennis player hits a 0.058kg tennis ball so that it goes straight up and reaches a maximum height of 5.20m. How much work does gravity do on the way down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the formula for work, work = Force * Distance, Force = mass * gravity, in thise case Force = 9.81 * 0.058 and the distance is 5.20. Multiply all of these together and you will get the amount of work that is needed to be done.
