OpenStudy (sachin00007):

what is refrence frame in physics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is more like a coordinate system, such as positions and orientation at different moments of time, but the coordinate are not specific, but it would have the same shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically helps you tells the difference from things that are at rest from moving

OpenStudy (sachin00007):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

A reference frame is a set of fixed points relative to which you describe a motion. A coordinate system is something different, in that is can be fixed or not relative to the reference frame you are using.
