Factor: 12s^2-23s+5

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Factor \(12 s^2-23 s+5\) by finding factors of \(12×5=60\) whose sum is -23. How about -3 and -20? The multiply to give you 60 and sum to give you -23. So $$ 12 s^2-23 s+5 = 12 s^2-20 s-3 s+5 = 3 s (4 s-1)-5 (4 s-1) $$ Can you take it from here?
