jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

fog(x) means plug in g(x) into f(x) so 4th root (x+1) becomes 4throot ( g(x)+1) which is set equal to 4throot (x+7) so it's like x+7 = g(x)+1 solve for g(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how D:

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

if you want you can think of g(x) as y like solve for y from x+7 = y+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol :( can you start it off for me

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

you would subtract both sides by 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+6=y?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yes :) so g(x) = x+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oooooh!! haha yaay!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

things seem much easier after

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was making it more complicated than I should have

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

that happens a lot XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):
