OpenStudy (1645323):

Solve: 3x2 - 4 = 20 Select one: a. 8i, -8i b. 22, -22 c. 8i2, -8i2 d. 2i2, -2i2

OpenStudy (1645323):

is D right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually none of them is right. I guess in the second choice, you have missed the square root sign.. By the way the roots are real. So now you can make a guess

OpenStudy (1645323):

i know the square root sign won't show up but I got D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You might have made a mistake while transferring 4 to RHS. So you got complex roots. (B) must be correct
