3^x+4=7^x-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 3 to the power x or x to the power 3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 to the power of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohk , wht u do is , just do a little transfer of terms 7^x-3^x=4+1 so 7^x-3^x=5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now start putting the values of x on the Left hand side if x=0 , then 7^x is 7^0=1 1-1=0 so this is not equal to 5 that is rigt hand side, dump this value of x, Carry on to next value of x if u put x=1, ummm then also not working :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

will u calculate the value of x now ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes
