What is the range of the relation: (0, 7), (8, -1), (2, 3), (-4, 6)? (-4, 0, 2, 8) (-1, 3, 6, 7) (1, 7, 8, -1) (2, 3, -4, 6)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

the range is the y values do you know what the y values are ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

look at your original points....they are set up like this (x,y). Now name all the numbers in the y spots. Can you do that ?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

for instance, the y value in the first set of points is 7. The y value in each set of points is the second number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7,-1,3,6

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

you got it :) Good job

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

just remember, all the y values are the range and all the x values are the domain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
