Just saw this painting awhile ago! Hmmm it's called "The Raft Of Medusa." It is a oil painting. It was painted by the French, romantic artist Théodore Géricault. He made effective space by using the pyramid configuration. The work has examples of tenebrism and caravaggio. I'm not familiar with how he made the space effective in the painting to be honest, so that needs to be double checked. :)
