Hannah, next time, please post a new question separately from the previous one. Thanks. I'd suggest you use synthetic division here. The divisor (x-2) becomes just +2; divide that into the the coefficients of the given 4th order polynomial: 2 | 2 -3 1 -3 -3. If you don't know synthetic division, use long division to divide 2x4 - 3x3 + x2 - 3x - 3 by (x-2).
