12a=14a-4 ANSWER!
Simplifying 12a = 14a + -4 Reorder the terms: 12a = -4 + 14a Solving 12a = -4 + 14a Solving for variable 'a'. Move all terms containing a to the left, all other terms to the right. Add '-14a' to each side of the equation. 12a + -14a = -4 + 14a + -14a Combine like terms: 12a + -14a = -2a -2a = -4 + 14a + -14a Combine like terms: 14a + -14a = 0 -2a = -4 + 0 -2a = -4 Divide each side by '-2'. a = 2 Simplifying a = 2
12a= 14a-4 4= 14a-12a 4= 2a a= 4/2 a= ???
a=2
