Write an equation for the translation of x^2+y^2=25 by 6 units left and 3 units down.

for a circle of equation
(x-a)^2 + (y-b)^2 = r^2
the center is (a,b)

in your equation the center is (0,0)
we want to move it 6 units left and 3 units down
so it will be (-6,-3)

thus a=-6 and b=-3

replace them in the general formula
what do you get ?
