A chef boiled 4 eggs and put them in a basket with 8 eggs that were not boiled. All of the eggs look the same. Randy selects an egg, keeps it, and then selects another egg. Which expression gives the probability that he selects 2 boiled eggs?

meh guessing 4/12 ._. idk im not smart~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

coz 4 of them are boiled.. n 8 ot them aint.. soo add together there are 12 eggs total.. n only 4 are boiled.. so 4/12??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer is A. probability of selecting boiled egg is 4/12. she put it again in the basket. so next time too probabilty is same 4/12. so the probablity of picking up two boiled eggs is 4/12 times 4/12
