How do i solve this with all the work? y=|4x+12|

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

https://www.desmos.com/calculator/fexnjv5sgf

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 4x + 12 y - 12 = 4x subtracted both sides with 12 (y - 12)/4 = x divided both sides by 4

@OneRepublic Don't remove the |absolute signs|

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

@naomi168 What do you mean by "solve"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm learning how to graph inequalities, i need to show all work for this problem then to graph it . when its graphed the points should be connected in the shape of a "v". @kc_kennylau

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Then that's not "solve"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh well i need help please!

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Find x intercept and y intercept

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

1. graph y=4x+12 2. make all points below the x-axis above the x-axis
