A museum exhibit is made up of a fish tank with propellers in the right and left sides and a control panel. When no buttons are pressed, no propellers spin, and the fish swim randomly facing the right and left. When you press, the “right” button, the propellers on the right side spin and all the fish swim facing right. When you press the “left” button, the propellers on the left side of the tank spin and all the fish swim facing left. What do you think the fish are responding to?
