Help remove parenthesis (-4+w+3y)(-5) PLEASE
Use the distributive property. You would get 20-5w-15y
OK, is the -5xw 5w ??
There is no x in the problem.
Or do you mean multiplication?
yes
thanks, I just cannot wrap my head around this !
If it's easier for you to understand the new equation would be 20+(-5w)+(-15y). The negative sign is not dropped, it becomes the subtraction sign.
It's not a problem if you still need help.
i don't know how to write squared or cubed and this problem is
Use a ^2 for squared, ^3 for cubed.
ok here's the problem : -7(-3v^3-4+3w^2)
This is the same type of problem I helped you with earlier. Use the Distributive property again. Your new equation would be 21v^3+28-21w^2. Only multiply the constants.
okay so I am not really doing anything with the integers ???
thanks for all I connect with you again ??? I don't know how on here
You mean the variables (the letters)? Then no. For this problem you will leave them alone. But if you multiply a variable by a variable, then you'd add a power. For example w times w = w^2
no I meant the cubed or squared
No, not for this problem since you're not multiplying variables.
Okay, Thanks Again ...
