1.Search for the verb of the sentence 2.Find the subject of your sentence 3.Find your direct object if you have one 4.Find the articles (a,as,the) or Possessions (my,yours,his,her) 5.Locate the adjectives 6.Find the adverb 7.Look for any prepositional phrases. 8.Check if your sentence is compound. These should help if they don't please tell me.
